So far China has done right by me. I've had very little to complain about overall. Beijing was a bit overpriced, but it was nice to hang out with one of my old friends from Korea. We went and hit the bars, such as they are in Beijing, and both made up excuses for not visiting the Great Wall of China. His excuse being he was only going to visit to get a picture for his dad, and he could get one off of google. My excuse being it was to damn cold and I had already seen it my last time here in China.
Saw the Ancient Observatory
Tinnimen square... bit of a dissappointment really..
Took a slow train to Datong... Filthy little city..
Caves outside of Datong the Shandong Caves were pretty cool though.
Went onto Taiyun.. boring city.. not much to see.. even the women are fugly...
Arrived in Pingyao which is an ancient walled city/tourist trap outside of Taiyuan. Perfect time of the year for me to visit also. Barely any tourists and the place was pretty quiet. Damn near stabbed some taxi driver who grabbed my pack to convince me to take his taxi when I wanted to walk.
After Pingyao I went to Xian.. boring city.. best part was the Terracotta Warriors...
And now I'm in Chengdyu.. nice town... went and saw the Pandas this morning.. food is good.. and the woman are absolutely steaming hot... WOw...
