It is difficult to differentiate between the vessel and that which it bares. Both of the same stuff, me thinks. The above mentioned remedy would relive only one and leave the other alas to no avail.

Reliving the experience of Joe Gauld having an enema is not something I would prefer to participate in, thank you very much. I think I'll pass on the original experience as well, let alone the re-live.

As to what bares the vessel, I think he does that pretty well on his own. His difficulties lie more along the lines of knowing when to keep it zipped, and that goes for his pants as well as his mouth.
