Yep. Though I've over heard staff talking once about how such and such parent denied elan to place her in the ring. Usually one would get a ring if they assualted or acted out in the corner to much, but mostly because it made the director of the house happy to see someone get the sense beat into them. Honestly it wasn't a bloody thing like one would assume. The kids had to wear these over size gloves and it seemed most of the time like a pillow fight.

There was a task a new resident had to do at some point and that was stand in front of the house and sing a song. Usually it was a song assigned to them that the person did not like and it was to "Break your image" thats an elan term.

The dance I don't recalll any dance being concepted during my time I was there, must be a newer thing, after my time.
