. The 90s was also all about britpop. Blur (oasis were waay overrated) Pulp for their hilarious lyrics if nothing else. Suede and Elastica.

From your part of the world i would put the breeders on the list. Also Nine inch nails and Tori Amos.
In R&B definitely both The Fugees and Lauren Hill solo
