Nice job guys.  Psy, gotta tell ya....it did me a world of good to track down Miller Newton and give him a piece of my mind.  So much so I've done it several times.  Hope your visit to Benchmark had a similar effect on you.

I watched Psy give one of his counselors/tormentors a good telling off and I have to say I thought for awhile there he was going to float off into outter space. The crazy kid looked positively giddy after the event.

Later I told Psy we ought to go into business helping other survivors confronting their counselor/tormentors and terrorizing the hell out of the facilities in the process. I don't know about Psy, but my decision not to persue the idea involved a sudden realization that I'd be spending to much time in crappy hotels and eating even crappier fast food on a regular basis.

Aww, geez... just when us plebes were getting our hopes up!  Well, it has been an inspirational tale, to say the least.  Ample food for thought for many of us, I am sure.  High kudos and creds to the both of you!!

wow, it's weird hearing the voice someone you only see in print. So, different than what you'd expect.

Psy's voice is higher pitched and nicer than I imagined, che sounded deeper and more thoughtful. I liked that part.."tell me how much you weigh"..."do I have to?"

What does your voice sound like?

My voice sounds like a cross between a rooster being strangled and nails scraping 'cross a blackboard, but only when I'm aroused! ::seg::

This is pretty much my dream. Running into ex CEDU staff NOW and telling them exactly what I think... asking rhetorical questions about how they could possibly justify very specific practices as "therapeutic."

So, what did you say to MN and what was his response?

Do you think he has any shame or does he think angry survivors are ungrateful wretches?

...just curious.

Go for it.. though be warned.. You will not likely get the answers you are looking for. One of my biggest concerns, I won't call it a fear as I'm not afraid of it happening, but one of my biggest concerns is what to say if I ever get a kid I counseled doing what you suggest.

My biggest hope is I can provide some sort of decent answers for the kid, but like so many things it is easier said than done.
