The story comes as no surprise, and  is pretty much what I expected. Covenant Health has such a stronghold on this area that a negative report on PV isn't likely to make it very far.
A poster mentioned on this thread earlier that Lori Tucker is not an investigative journalist, but I hope at some point she will entertain an opposing viewpoint.

I got a reply from Ms. Tucker regarding PV, and she is interested in the "other side" of the issue as well.  It could be smoke up my wazoo, but I appreciated the gesture, as well as the polite and considerate tone of her email.

It doesn't really matter who they are or where they live.  The story is very predictable and loaded with program red flags. Any number of people from Fornits or other survivor sites could have put the story together before it even hit the air or print. Why? Because it is the same story, over and over again. PV gets a lot of kids from the Triangle Park/ Raleigh Durham area and they do HEAVY marketing there. It is at least a six hour trip from PV to that area and it must have been costly to mobilize a film crew just to do a spot on PV.

He's already BEEN smashed, Zen, clear out of the public school system, with an extra-heavy dose of electricity and applied fear for his trouble- whichever dumbfuck is doing the referrals is *probably* not him.

But I had to ask.

(Seriously, you probably don't want to know who I'm talking about. This guy has a lot of potential to perform real disturbing shit but little ability, AFAIK, to actually do it.)

Let's not sidetrack this with details of that. Let's get an answer to the question: WHY so many referrals from Raleigh/Durham? What presence does PV have there? Is there some sort of government tie-in?
