Picked out a program for your kid yet?  Christ knows he/she'll end up in one, with a psycho dung-heap like you parenting.

No, you've convinced me otherwise. If I am seeing anything out of the ordinary  it's just a phase! A little coke here, and there, no problem! Why is everyone freaking out about?!! So, she held up a bank at gun point? Big deal, it was a BB gun. So she's having unprotected sex at the age of 12, if she contracts HIV, that's the lesson she'll have to learn. Hey, I care about my child, and I refuse to get her help because I've heard reports out there (a lot here), that some programs have been charged with abuse. Therefore, I am going to sit back, and do nothing. I believe it'll all work itself out eventually. It will, won't it?

She told me when she was robbing the bank that she was doing it to save up enough money to afford treatment since she knew we were a little tight on funds. We told that to the judge, he was cool with that!!!!!!

Wow, these teenagers stabbed this innocent woman 61 times?!! Wait the 15 year old girl had been subjected to sexual, and physical abuse at the ages of 2 and 5? So, we should give her a break?

No, but they ~should~ get due process, shouldn't they?

(I'm not entirely up on this thread yet; my apologies if someone already made this point.)

The bellicose postings and attacks on opponents of Behavior Modification programs and program survivors are by individuals with financial ties to the abusive teen industry.  The recent GAO hearing concerning the industry and resultant media attention has caused these individuals to lash out in defense of programs.  The poster known as TheWho has a financial interest in programs, specifically investment of capital.  CCMGirl1989 has connections to an educational consultant.  Comments made by these posters ("trolls") are intended to subvert and disrupt discussion of relevant issues, and should be regarded as propaganda of the abusive teen industry.   [/color]

Well, the majority of you on Fornits don't believe in sending kids to programs, and that programs shouldn't exist. Well, I don't believe in teenagers who are out of control, that are allowed to do whatever they hell they want, and ruin peoples lives forever.

Spoken like the dumb, programmed shill you are. It's all about punishment and discipline and control, right CCMdouche?

Never about the parents - never about the abuse. Play the blame game, always blame some out of control kids. You are dense - & you are stupid - you are incapable of having a conversation based on the topic at hand - you talk about the subject tangentially, like a fucking autistic chimp.

The whole reason the world is wrong is because there aren't enough programs or abuse or authority or control, right? Bad kills because they are out of control. Maybe we should send our president to a program because there are alot of people dead because of him.

Your sense of humor isn't funny, it's downright sadistic, you fucking sociopath. When you are on your knees tonight giving head to some edcon, don't forget to swallow, cooze.

Well

Yup, she speaks like a “dummyâ€

Me leaving would mean that they would be winning. I am not backing down. The more you push, the harder I will push back.

This is the perfect place for me. I love seeing how far I've come.

Honestly CCM.... Is there some sadistic pleasure that you get when people "crash" on you??? As long as you are here putting off an arrogant front, the longer the insanity will go on.

What is it that you find beneficial about disrupting conversations about how bad programs are.... Oh yea, I forgot..... You are here to cause disruption and calamity because you are trying to do damage control for the programs. I guess what "The Commentator" said is true.

I guess you are real proud of yourself.... Tell me do you act this way towards your husband??? Or did he make you go somewhere else to spew your insanity and that's why you stay here???

CCMGirl on program restraints: "DON\'T TAZ ME BRO!!!!!"

TheWho on program survivors: "From where I sit I see all the anit-program[sic] people doing all the complaining and crying."

CCM, I went thru the same thing you are (a couple of times).  It is hard for anyone to here to fathom that people have positive experiences.  20,000 to 30,000 kids a year benefit from the industry and a handful do not and this is how they justify their position.  People here focus on the handful and ignore the rest.
Anyone who disagrees with them must be on the payroll…

Sure kids get abused by members in the teen industry.. but this applies to any industry which deals with children from day care centers to our own public school system.  Regulation isn’t going to stop it because people will figure out a way to hurt kids if that is what they want to do.  we all know this by listening to the news everyday.  It happens everywhere.

Instead of looking at individual cases we need to step back and look at the industry as a whole.  If you do you will see that TBS’s are the safest alternative for a child at risk who hasn’t responded well to local options.  If parents talk to the schools and/or parents who had kids go thru some of these programs they will get a better sense themselves and this is what I recommend (dont take anyones word from the internet, including mine, check it out for yourselves)

You got to love the logic, though.  It’s a blast reading thru these posts on this thread CCM.

Ps:  Niles I am proud of you.  You kept your cool in the midst of controversy and walked away when you were proven wrong instead of posting porn and animal pictures.  It’s a good sign and seems to be working for you.
