Update on Class Action Suite Against WWASP

Man, you are one naive parent and plaintiff. Sure hope by the time the attorneys are done taking their cut of the pie, there is enough left over to give the kids enough money to get some decent therapy and perhaps pay for a college education or down payment on a home. I could care less if the parents make a single dime of their money back. It's not abou them anyway.

Didn't at least one of the referral outfits get a dismissal of charges against them? What about individual schools/programs? Any of them win any motions of dismissal? How about WWASPS people like Litchfield, Kay? What is the status of this lawsuit? Any parents drop out?
Anonymous:
As a parent I am choosing not to get involved in the lawsuit, it definately is NOT about getting the money back. However, I am encouraging my child to join the suit and hope he does for his own piece of mind and to stick it back to WWASP.

Anybody have a PACER account who can give us a quick rundown? This is public record so I don't know why anyone would object.

PACER only works with federal lawsuits. This one is filed in state court isn't it?
A motion to dismiss is a standard move in many lawsuits. In order to succeed, the movant has to prove that the law does not support the claims being made under any possible version of the facts alleged. Such motions are rarely granted, at most they will get rid of some of the counts, but not the whole suit.
