High Impact

I'm just curious if High Impact was owned, and operated by WWASPS? Is it possible that another company owned it, and WWASP just referred kids that they could not handle there?

HIGH IMPACT BOOT CAMP

[I called their web site number to ask some questions about the Parent Resources Hotline, identifying myself as an educational consultant. The person answering the phone informed me he was only authorized to send a packet of information and did not answer any of my questions. The packet I received included a photocopy of a letter from Dwayne Lee of Parent Resources Hotline, a Sample Daily Schedule for WWASP Programs, a brochure for High Impact, a Video Tape and a brochure for the World Wide Association of Specialty Programs: Casa by the Sea, Carolina Springs Academy, Cross Creek Academy, Spring Creek Lodge and Tranquility Bay. Apparently Parent Resources Hotline exclusively markets High Impact and WWASP programs.-Lon]

High Impact describes itself as a 28 day+ boot camp for defiant teens “that is well defined and well structured. This experience is designed to help teens replace destructive attitudes and behaviors with new perspectives and direction in their lives. This is accomplished by focusing on the three R’s of Reality, Respect, and Responsibility.â€

Also, if you read over the WWASP V PURE trial transcripts, I think you'll see it proven that High Impact was operated by the same Utah business entities as other undisputed WWASPS facilities.  Hidi Mock testified to visiting High Impact with Ken Kay - and being told not to tell anyone they had been there. The film shot by the Mexican police of the kids marching in the dessert sun in sweat suits; and being contained in the dog cages was shown in court - as one of the parent witnesses testified and described the various stress positions the kids were forced to maintain. It was at that point in the trial that Steven Fredrickson (a kid who had been kept in one of those dog cages, as well as suffering terribly at Paradise Cove) broke down sobbing, and the judge halted proceedings and had the court take a break.

when i was in casa by the sea i was recommended and escorted by casa to high impact.

horrible horrible place to say the least

but yes i firmly believe that wwasp was affilated and advertly ran high impact.

all the other kids there were from other wwasp programs and when the HI was shut down for child abuse the staff from HI came to work at Casa By the Sea a wwasp school.

in fact if you have ever viewed the inside edition tape where the guy goes undercover to casa by the sea you will see the woman (allie) leading him around is the former owner od high impact that she ran from her house on the hill above the crude facility with her husband miguel.

if you have any more questions let me know
