If HLA is asking for nothing from the county then they have no say in whether or not MBA happens.  If the market will allow for 15,000 then that is how much they should charge.  If there is no market for it, then they will have to change.  Let the market decide whether or not it is a good idea.

no, the county or state can withold licenses.

of course, they could still operate without a license (as many programs do), but that would lead hidden lake into shit creek really fast, especially with a $15000/mo price tag.

at look at the way youre talking. you make me sick. "if the market will allow it..." fuck man. it's as if youre putting a price on children.

HLA is opening MB because it's going to be cheap as fuck for them to build and operate in comparison to hidden lake. it's a lockdown after all; and it will compensate for all the money they are loosing at hidden lake. 1 kid at MB = ~3 kids at hla. considering the operating costs will be much lower, profits will probably exceed the equivalent of 5-6 hla kids.

it used to be that hidden lake would milk parents for that little extra drop of money by claiming that their kid wasnt doing so well, and needed an "intervention" via a month and RCI. it's well known that every HLAer should expect to attend rci at least once in their hla career...as hard as you try they will always find a reason to send you. but, rci has become a "pussy" program, and unlike in rci formative years, now many kids even look foward to going. they even do things so they get sent to rci, because rci provides relative freedom and a break from school. Mountain brook will provide the same thing Ridge creek used to provide: an intimidating environment that will scare the bad behaviour out of hla'ers; and a way to milk some more money out of parents.

also bucci really likes the super-bad kids, like the psychopath that c.poole was talking about, he knows parents will pay anything to get rid of them, and he wants a piece of the market share.

I am also positive that quite a bit of money and a few favors were given out to a few county officials, to provide a more favorable political atmosphere for the development of M.B

Can you elaborate on "worse and worse"?
What is your understanding of the difference between MB and HLA and/or RC? A wilderness or TBS or combination? What makes it stand apart from the other two? Different demographic of kids?

Hidden Lake Academy, after operating 12 years unlicensed will now be monitored by the state. Access information on the Federal Class Action lawsuit against HLA here: http://www.fornits.com/wwf/viewtopic.php?t=17700
