Rachael:
Hey, a while back it was mentioned that the sheer number of notification emails being sent out was fairly over the top. I personally don't particularly care about them, but the box is checked by default and I usually forget to uncheck it.

Wouldn't it make more sense to have it set to default unchecked, and then if people are interested they can select it?
