I actually have my file. I took it when I was on staff. It really does not say anything out of the ordinary regarding treatment plans. I haven't read it in several years. There are a few times that I saw Dr. Schwartz that I remember but it doesn't say anything in there about it, from what I can read of his hand writting. The write ups from the exec's, again from what I can read, are very vague at best. There was nothing in there about the Fairfax County LCSW that I was court ordered to see twice a week (could be why everything in my personal file is so vague - in case the state wanted to review it). It did mention that I was on suicide watch which I totaly forgot about as did my parents (which was total BS - my oldcomer said that sometimes she has "irrational thoughts" about killing herself and asked me if I could relate - next thing I knew I was getting 15 min. of sleep for ever one hour I was awake). Anyway, point is that I didn't see (or don't recall seeing) anything that would make someone say OMG.

So in your file you say there was not much of any "pertinant" information. What about your intake records? Were those included in your file?

Let me ask you this, although I probably already know the answer...Where you administered a drug test prior to being admitted to the program? Was their a record of that?

My mother tells me that they advised her I tested positive for drugs at my intake. BULLSHIt. Although, skeezin bitch may be lying about that too.

Yes, my intake records were there - the one that the two 3rd phasers wrote up. Was I given a drug test prior to intake - no, but my parrents had it on tape that I was tripping the night before they locked me up. I was given a test after being in there for about 2 mo, and guess what - I'm not an alcoholic per the test. But then they were able to get away with this crap because they were a "family treatment center" not a drug rehab.

When I said that there was no pertinant information - I was refering to information about the abuse. If you would like to see what is in a client file, I would be more then happy to show you mine. It would not provide you the information that you are looking for, but perhaps it would spark something that might help.

Don't misunderstand me. I am not proud of the person that I was when I was on staff, nor am I condoning what straight did or was all about. I'm was in straight with you, though I'm not sure that I know who you are. I remember there were a couple of 12 yr olds in there when I was in, but gone once I was on staff. I did pull one of their files and it did state in there that they did not have a drug problem.

I don't think that the frustration or anger will ever go away. We were wronged and abused and no one is held accountable.

I feel like I am beating a dead horse. But this is the first time that I have ever been able to talk about Straight, my experiences and others with out people telling me and looking at me like I'm nuts.

I want to know it all and I can't and that it what's really pissing me off. I would like to see those Documents. Curiosity is killing me. I don't even know what I am looking for.

Do you remember the persons name of the 12 year old? Or if they were male of female? Where were they from, etc?

I know it was years ago. If your memory is like mine, you probably won't remember. But any information would be better then nothing.

IT really didnt say shit there was no treatment plan it gave dates of shit like intake,2nd phase,when I went to school mundane horseshit really....nothing that addressed any real issues........I think there was something about being put in time out for throwing food at some bitch-ass-girl (Belinda or MELINDA something) when I was on 1st phase ,no suprises,and nothing in detail.

First off, forgive me for being a dumb ass and asking dumb ass questions, but

because I was one of "dem needy kids" and received a grant/state funds, how was Straight able to collect my grant/fund money without clear, concise documentation.

Correct me if I am wrong, wouldn't the state require well documented treatement notes for one of their "needy kids", if using state funds?

There has to be a record some fucken where about me. About all of us.

I am also wondering if you get resistance from your parents when you ask for details regarding Straight?

Total resistance. I've been kicked out repeatedly for bringing it up. They still believe I failed at graduating, because of my profuse refusal to participate in the abuse of other humans. Straight finally asked my parents to remove me, since I never left 1st phase or rightfully "earned talk" in the 6.5 months I was there. I failed at Straight, kinda an interesting concept I must live with from my family.

GAWD, I can not wait to get away from this small left over straight cult family that is my parents and the "compliant child" and her children. Scary part is, they are raising my niece and nephew to be straightlings! FREAKS><

There were two 12 yr olds when I was there - one was a guy, the other was a girl. She was a sibling and if I remember correctly (which sometimes I don't - there has been a lot I forgot, some on purpose) it came out in a sibling rap that she had smoked pot w/her older brother and did mushrooms once. She would get confronted regularly because that was the only drugs that she did and must have been BS because no one goes from smoking pot once to doing shrooms. I cannot remember if she graduated - I think she did.

I don't remember much about the 12 yr old guy that was in though. I can barely picture his face - I think he had brown curly hair. That's as much as I can remember about him.

Tell her who you are, which program you were in, she will then give you the email to one of the SOS group members Marti has already given ginger permission to release her email to you if you in fact are a survivor.

There is a small group of five to seven survivors who continue to obtain documents from various sources. they do not make very well known for obvious reasons.

This group over the years has massed thousands of documents that from what i understand are located in three storage facilities across the US.
The first effort in going through these documents and organize the several hundred on hand to start with was done through ISAC who agreed to pay for and produce the first of the reports.

The most recent document was revealed in the discovery channel program behavior modification inwhich Dick Chaney was revealed to have had a hand in this process from almost the begining. This sheds new light on the focus of the SOS investigation which will now focus on the true behind the scene individuals who funded such places.
Its long been thought that Robert Dupont simply left NIDA SOS has found that not to be the truth.
The discovery channel document proves that this was not the case.

The other documents including handwritten letters and notes by Betty Sembler and DFAF internal documents can not be realeased until the attorneys for SOS agree to do that.
