I shouldn't even bother with a reply, but this pisses me off. Most parents at CEDU were happy to outsource their kid and be done with it. (CEDU parents tended to be rich, selfish, and negligent.) Then they could go on with their overly entitled lives, unimpeded, without having to face the inconvenience of parenting.
I also knew quite a few kids who were escorted; it was an unbelievably traumatic experience for them to be roughly woken up and taken by a bounty hunter, basically, and ripped from everything. The parents "trauma" came from guilt--maybe--at watching this brutal scene, but it soon abated when the scene was out of their radar...
