CAN I ATTEND A WWASPS SEMINAR
« on: June 16, 2007, 09:55:48 PM »
I WANTED TO KNOW WHETHER I COULD GO TO A SEMINAR? I HEAR HOW GREAT THEY ARE AND WONDER WHY CANT I JOIN IN THE FUN? SO I RESEARCHED TO FIND OUT IF I COULD GO THIS IS WHAT I FOUND:
Seminar Attendance:

Seminars must be attended in the following order:

   1. Discovery

   2. Focus

   3. Keys to Success

To register for the next seminar you must be a graduate of the previous seminar. If you register for a seminar and you are not a graduate of the previous seminar, your registration will be disregarded.

All training seminars are in English. Therefore, participants in need of translation, must provide their own non-English translation.

Seminar Medical Disclaimer:

Due to medical counseling and the nature of the seminars, if you have any of the following conditions or similar:

    * Pregnancy

    * High blood pressure

    * Heart conditions

    * Recent major surgery

You may not attend the seminars at this time. For further information, contact the office.

Registration:

Individuals may be registered for 1 (one) seminar at any given time (Does not apply for Parent Child seminars).

Individuals must be a graduate of the previous level seminar to attend the next level seminar.

Registration is confirmed on a first-come-first-serve basis; seminars have a maximum capacity (varies dependant on size of training room).

Cancellation:

There is a non-refundable $75.00 cancellation fee for cancelling Discovery or Focus and a $50.00 cancellation fee for cancelling a Keys to Success.

Seminar Participation:

    * Your child needs to currently be enrolled in a Premier associated school.

    * If you have an account on the Parent Forum (BBS), you must be in good standing

    * If you are a PC 3 Graduate, seminar attendance after your child leaves the program is not guaranteed. We highly recommend that you complete the full series of seminars while they are enrolled.

    * In the event that your child has chosen to exit the program after 18 years of age, parents are not guaranteed seminar attendance even if the following requirements are met:

          o Parent must be in support of program completion (i.e. you did not withdraw your teen.)

          o Parent must be following their exit plan as written while teen was in the program

          o If the teen is living at home, a contract must be in place with an exit plan.

          o The parents must have their schools or programs support.

Sibling Age Requirements:

    * Siblings must be 18 years old to attend Adult seminars.

    * Siblings 18-21 living at home, must have an interview with Premier.

    * Siblings younger than 18 are eligible to attend the Youth Leadership Camps.

   2. Student must have been in the program 6 + months.

   3. Parent must be a Discovery graduate.

Non-Focus Incentive Requirements:

   1. Parent must be a Discovery Graduate.
   2. Student must be a Discovery Graduate.

   3. Student must have been in the program 7 months before issuing the invitation to attend.

      NOTE: This would put the family attending near the 8 month time frame.

   4. Program recommendation required.

   5. Tuition must be current.

Focus Incentive Requirements:

   1. Parent must be a Focus Graduate.

   2. Student must be a Discovery Graduate.

   5. Tuition must be current.

18 Year Old Requirements:

   1. Parent must be a Discovery Graduate.

   2. Student must be a Discovery Graduate.

Glutton for punishment, are you?

The only good thing about WWASPS is the parents pay for their own torture too.

I wouldn't enter a WWASPS seminar without a fully automatic weapon and several spare mags.

Yes, right across the street from the John Wayne Airport in Irvine.  Seems like they don't really use SD anymore.
