Apology to HLA

You write very well...and obviously do not sound like you are
a candidate for HLA..

I would suggest that you and your family go see a therapist that is completely independent of HLA. Tell them you situation and get their opinion about what you should do.

As a parent of a former student at HLA, I can tell you that HLA is not the choice you want to make for your child. They make lots of false promises to you about what they will do for your child. It all sounds good when they tell you all about how they will help your child, but it does not work that way at all. Please save yourself a lot of $$$ and heartache and make another choice for your child. Do not let HLA get their hooks into you and your child and then you are really stuck because they will not get academic credit if you take your child out early. I will be glad to talk to any prospective parents that would like to talk to me about it. We will tell you the truth about what our experiences were like before you make that decision. HLA was a very negative environment, and in my opinion, that is why most parents take their children out of the program early.

Change back.
Now.

Perhaps he meant in a bad way?
Also feel free to use whatever you need out of my blog to aid your cause of staying out of that cesspit. The stories in there are about a different facility all together, but the industry is rife with the same tragic similarities.

--- Quote from: ""cactor"" ---I owe an apology to Christy Jones and HLA for my comments made about the school based off of rumors. My experience at Ridge Creek was a great one and I learned a lot of positive things about the mistakes I was making in life and how to correct them. My fears and concerns about HLA prompted me to write the negative comments about the school that I take full responsibility for. I am very apologetic for making those comments.
I think that everyone's experience at HLA or Ridge Creek is what they make of it--in which I chose to make the best of mine. I based my concerns off of rumors and I understand that it was very irresponsible on my part.
