Treatment Abuse, Behavior Modification, Thought Reform > Straight, Inc. and Derivatives

OH MY GOODNESS!!!!!!

Carmel:
I agree, it seems like the people over there talk about Straight like they were still there, like a gossip column almost.  It just seems like one big re-hash that isnt necessarily helpful to anyone. Pro or Anti Straight.

I guess it serves their purposes...just seems silly to me thats all.  I could give a shit about what staff members were cool or not...blah blah....I guess that sort of stuff has its place...but I guess i just dont see the need to carry on daily conversations about it.

Just my opinion.

kaydeejaded:
Someone from over there said that staff got high and held raps. Is this true? Does anyone have any info to support this claim? I really don't know what to think about that but imagine being stoned in front of 180 supposed x-druggies and sitting on a stool confronting them, not somthing I could do. I know I would have an anxiety attack.

GregFL:
Me either, That crap about how something was cool, who likes this or that, etc is juvenile. Recently Don posted that an argument had gotten out of hand and that, "Rap is over, let's have a song"
EEEEEWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!  Leave me out of this kinda program thinkspeak, PLUEEESE..

Sometimes really intelligent, well thought out points are made there, and then someone  will come back with really weak stuff
Ex:  "i would expect that from someone whom doesn't believe in god"
I have a theory that the really weak and truly  not intelligent are more likely  to march the program line, Seed, straight, AA, whatever.

Perhaps a new board called Straight alumni survivors is in order....

Carmel:
I second that!
