I assume this is it?

Brian is the captain of the Hyde soccer team and was named all conference and all New England. He is an honor roll student with a passion for writing poems and music.

But Brian's life hasn't been easy. In fact, it appeared to be spiraling out of control before his parents pulled him out of school in Andover, Massachusetts and enrolled him at The Hyde School in Bath.

In this week's Varsity Club, Bruce Glasier talked with Brian about how he turned his life around.

You will have to tell me what he says,  I am so not going to put media player 10 on my computer.

I am happy for Brian.  I hope he does not fall apart like some of the "turn around" kids do after they leave.

Channel 6 is a Gannett station as in Jean Gannett Hawley.  Still pimpin' after all these years.

I was also hoping someone was going to tell me what he says!    I also "am so not going to put media player 10 on my computer."

Anyone have any inkling as to what media outlets in Maine are not controlled by the Gannett family?

You are right in your assumptions.  Most Hyde publicity is done with connections, either present parents, former parents or people doing business with Hyde.  Hyde does not have any credibility in most parts of the country!
