Shit that happens to people when they are like 14 or 15 affects them more than it would a "mature" adult who has seen enough of the world to know how to deal with people that are true assholes..
Not one kid in that dump knew how to deal with their feelings. You were fucked over by adults somewhere along the lines so when you think Marc or Marion was a "friend" or "confidant" you get hurt when they screw you over.
So yeah, even if someone was left behind at the house while people went to the lake it would suck. But I think it was more than that.
There aint shit wrong with dude venting. You see what happens when people don't vent right?
