BEIJING (Reuters) - Chinese tourism authorities are seeking investment to build a novel concept attraction -- the world's first "women's town," where men get punished for disobedience, an official said Thursday.

No effing way. This is hilarious. Although there are some "special" requests I am sure women would enjoy making, I don't think it is mutually beneficial or even enjoyable to have ultimate superiority in a relationship.   Except maybe in role playing....

Of course, if it is tourist attraction, I can see where it could be an interesting place to visit. But hey, you can visit some dominatrix dungeon right here in good ole USA for that!

Given what a paternalistic society China has been thus far, I am sure that it is more of a "tourist attraction" for the Chinese than it is for Westerners!

You're probably right. I forgot about the entrenched patriarchy in China. I wonder how many men will be making the move to Dominatrix-ville? This might turn out to be an all female society. A feminist Eatonville so to speak. Of course, there may be some uptight American/German business men who would pay these gals a visit.  -lea

It is know as Other World Kingdom in the Czech Republic

http://www.owk.cz/index.htm

I certainly would hesitate to go there, but properly some former male "students" from various TBS's would find, that they are not treated emontional worse than their stay in their former prisons.
