As sad as it sounds to say this in response to a facetious post intended to be outrageous - these type of things are typical at HLA.
Some "inmate justice" rituals like pissing all over someone's bed of defecating on their belongings do happen. Forcible sexual assaults with foreign objects have happened too and have been investigated and documented by the LCSO, although carefully hidden from parents who don't know where to look for the information HLA tries to keep buried.
So, even though you're making a sick joke, you have hit it on the head...

I know a lot of those happen in the male dorms, but they did occur in the female dorms too. I think the most disgusting ones that I remember was a girl sticking another girls toothbrush in her vagina to get back at her, another girl throwing a used tampon in the shower while the girl was showering, and then of course the ever popular pissing in someones shampoo bottle.
Real safe environment. All of those to claim public school is safer than TBS's, I went to both and can never remember hearing of any acts like these occuring.

Why in the world did HLA go with a dorm system for a school filled with oppositional kids(among other problems)? Putting 50 kids who are prone to getting into trouble in the same dorm is just asking for problems. It seems like going with a house system would have been more condusive to building meaningful relationships with kids and maintaining a higher degree of safety.
RobertBruce:
Of course since they fired all the night security, things are safer than ever!

Yes night security was laid off, but, another company was hired to do night security, and some of the original night security staff was hired by that company, so while HLA doesnt officially have night security under their employee list, they do provide night security. The part that I dont know is, if their duties are the same or the areas they patrol are the same as before. I also dont know if their hours are the same. When I lived on campus they came on at 10pm and left at 7 or 8 am. Youd have to ask a current employee about those items.
