Greg:  Yes I do believe we probably knew each other.  Your name is familiar,  but it has been a long time.  So sorry about David and Chris.  They were good people. I had lost touch with them by the time they passed away.  Reading these posts kind of helps me to understand what you all went through and understand a little better why the "seedlings" acted as they did back then.  Funny that I was such a druggie but i am so protective of my kids.  Remember that your parents did what they thought was right.  Hindsight is 20-20. My kids go to private school.I am a chicken,  so far so good.Do you have any idea what happened to Kathy Altvater or her brother Donnie.  I always felt she was so strong and would end up with a great life. Anyway thanks for answering my post.

GregFL:
You know, I haven't heard from either one of them since I was 16 or so. I remember Kathy Joined the swim team and was developing an identity away from the Seed, Donnie was really into his dirt bike and was a funny goofy guy, I liked him.

I heard some news about them from a friend in St Pete about two years ago and forgot. I am sorry.

Thanks again for logging on, but I am curious..How did you find this site?

GregFL:
BTW, somewhere in this forum is a story about me leaving St Pete when I caught wind my father was trying to throw me back in the program. It was David L and I that took off and went to Illinois, and of course you know he is dead now. Him and I were good friends and his brother and I are in touch once in a while.
