looking for people I knew
« on: January 26, 2007, 04:43:59 PM »
I worked at Cross Creek Manor for 3 months back in 2001.  I am looking to find any body who remembers me from the girls side.  I worked there from March - June.  I think that it is a crappy system, and I am looking to get a degree in social work and maybe start a business that makes parents realize that they need to deal with the situation, not pay someone else to.  Especially when the employees torture their kids.  I couldn't stay working there so I was happy when I got  a different job - except I missed the girls I got to know.  So, if you remember me, my name is Beth - let me know!

I want to be a counselor and help people figure out how to deal with the things that are making them turn to alcohol or drugs, or other vices.  I think parents want to make their kids into perfect little angles, and while I do understand that to an extent, as I have a 6 month old baby, I also think that the parents need to be more involved.  So, I would like to start a counseling/consulting business to try to find other options.  I know a few people that have gone to Tranquility Bay, and I think that it is a horrible horrible place, it does horrible things to the kids.

You worked at wasp and knew someone like that. There is as regular poster here called CCMGirl who was at that school. Fews people that post here think its innapropriate for unqualified (professionals) people to refer kids to schools or whatever. Personally I think we live in a capitalist society and you should do whatever makes you a living and you are fine doing. Good luck helping kids out and everything, because they need it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
