If the guy was instrumental in dismantling the Soviet surveilance/police state, that's wonderful. But that's not what's happening in America today. Certainly, you don't believe that the Fed Govt. is working to tear down what they're building?

Well, that doesn't really exclude his working as a consultant. I really don't know if this story is true or not or if the source is reliable. I do know that he's pretty well respected and trusted for his work on the Contra affair.
Anyway, I hope you're right. I really do. But just because something our government allegedly does is patently insane doesn't mean they're not doing it.
