not true...i can think of 3 students that have been on the "rci grad" program...
AND if they were to pull their kids they forfeit the "deposit" if they are dismissed they have to pay it back...
all of the kids on that program were 18--and signed themselves in
don't fool yourself...
IT IS ALL AND ALWAYS ABOUT THE $$$'S

--- Quote from: ""Guest"" ---If they are keeping them there because the are "so close to graduation" then it is not about the $$.  Parents pay the last three months of the program in advance.  In actuallity it would be more profitable for them to just kick those kids out.

There are many kids on MySpace who report being booted a month or two before graduation. Might they have been on scholarship and being booted, their parents had to repay that scholarship money?

i hear tell that if they are on scholarship and they withdraw they have to pay it back!!!
gives a whole new meaning to "generosity", eh??

This is true.  It is also written in the contract before they accept the scholarship.  One the one hand that sounds pretty harsh, on the other hand- don't accept the scholarship if you can't live up to the contract you sign.  If don't feel HLA lived up to their end of the bargain, then sue them.

RobertBruce:
So what happens when HLA decides to boot the kid? Does the school return the prepaid tuition?
