January 2001:   Poor starving animals removed from Sudweeks's property by Canadian SPCA.  Mark Sudweeks found guilty of extreme animal abuse; and fined over $100,000 and banned for life from owning animals in Canada. Mark Sudweeks lost appeal.

February 2001:  Sudweeks evicted from Mexico with 14 children for illegally operating a business/school.

April 2001:  Sudweeks ask Juab County Planning Commission to open Equine-assisted school for non-adjudicated teens.

November 2004:  Sudweeks investigated for child abuse of children enrolled at Whitmore Academy--Nephi, Utah.
During investigation:  License removed by State of Utah.

2006:  Sudweeks facing Civil Suit by Whitmore parents.

September 2006:  Cheryl Sudweeks scheduled for criminal child abuse trial; 7 counts against 4 children.

What next?????

They're called the police... and to avoid any confusion with the band by the same name, I've been nice enough to look up the definition on dictionary.com :

"Also called police force. an organized civil force for maintaining order, preventing and detecting crime, and enforcing the laws."

I believe that would be the answer you're looking for.

Yes and I believe they have indeed charged her with abuse.  The trial is upcoming, but you already knew that.  That's why you're here all of a sudden.

Actually, I had no idea the trial was in four days until I checked the forum today for the first time in quite a while.
