Have a link.  This is to the original Healing Place in Kentucky.  I beleive the place you posted about is similar...same model.

Well, I read the whole site, and cant bitch too strongly about what I read.

It sounds like a program which does some good.

Lots of inner city, all the way down type clients; bootstrap grabbin programs have strict sobriety and education requirements.  Most won't take the unwilling.

Well, I asked, and nobody told me anything bad.

For what its worth

I put myself in a program in Athens,GA that was called the healing place, which was the same organization as the one in Kentucky. They changed its name (in Athens) to "3rd step family home" around 1998. I don't know how similar they were after the name change or how affiliated they were. I voluntarily stayed for two months. When they confronted me about planning to leave them, I bucked it. Other than this incident it was alright. There was some good things going on because people there usually needed and/or wanted the help. Because the people were addicted to crack or severe alcoholics, they were more willing to put up with some rules than the Straight youth who weren't there (addicted) yet or ever. My experience there in Athens was mostly positive because I was out of control then and needed some help. But after two months, I was done cooking. If you put yourself there, and are free to leave, it's okay.
