I think that there are probably quite a few creative types out there because being creative stems from that emotional aspect in the psyche.  Cedu brought that on a bit more than any other normal circumstance.  I'm also in a creative field.

I'm will be a freshman at an art school this fall.  One possible explanation for the level of creativity is that creative people/artists and mental illness often times go hand in hand.  I know that not everyone at cedu was dealing with a mental illness, but alot were.  some of the greatest artists in history were dealing with one illness or another.  a second  reason for the creativity is that there were not very many fun things to do.  We all had to be creative in order to keep ourselves from going absolutely crazy.

I think it is because most creative kids act and think differently, more creatively, see through things and their folks can't handle it.
