Does anyone else miss the Hot Topics list?

Welp, spam is down, colors are coming along. Into the bargain we get a faster, more up-to-date server w/ a dedicated and conciencious admin.
We're missing some features, lot of them from the admin end. And I may very well get around to hacking into the deep code. Don't tempt me. I'll do it! Maybe. Prolly not till those long, cold winter nights, if ya wanna know the truth.
But all in all, I think this is an improvement already, anybody?

I do like it Ginger. I, of course, miss some of the old features, but ya know, people are resistant to change. I think you should stick with the new forum. . It looks good. :tup:

Yes it's new and improved. and yes, I am resistant to change, but I'm glad you're still here doing the good work you're doing.

From a user perspective I didn't notice that the old site was dated.
So I was unaware of the need for the upgrade.
The upgrade seems nice. I do miss the "hot topics" and wish that
instead of having to log in to see the latest posts, that it could just
go back to the choices as before, by the hour or day.

I am sure there are some that just don't want their identities figured out.
For others that are attacked regularly I am sure they turned to guest, or anonymous status, I am sure it is because of the few that attack the messenger instead of the message. Or to put it more clearly to attack the individual posting instead of responding to the content of each post.
That is sad that a few negative people have caused this to happen.
For every action there is a reaction.
Negative people rule ...
