Better Desription of Cheryl's Drug Rehab
« on: July 08, 2006, 05:01:00 PM »
Is Cheryl a Mormon? Moromons are not alowed to branch out on their own to own a dug rehab place so something is wrong with this whole story.

Were they raps like at The Seed? Did kids have to stand up and talk about themselves? Who led the raps? Was there a rap leader? What were the topics of the raps?

everyone here talks and talks but does not give a  real descrition of what life was lke there. What was the intake procee like?

Can someone who was actually at the place please give us a detailed picture of what a day was like at this place, Thanks

Yes, Cheryl Sudweeks is Mormon.

The GROUP Sessions were run by Cheryl--who is not a licensed therapist, she only has a high school dipolma.

GROUP: a kid would be "the subject" and everyone would come down on them, yellin and screaming.
Some of the groups would go on for hours.

The kids would have to "confess" to their past prior bad acts. Then they would be humiliated and called horrible names, and punished for being so BAD. Many groups would end in physical violence.
Often Cheryl would read from the kids' personal journals as a form of humiliation.
Groups were held at all hours of the day and night.

BUt couldn't someone have reported her to The Mormon Headquarters becuase Mormons are not just allowed to start churches of their own or naythin like a drug rehab either. There must have been something funky with her as a Mormon. Do they still ahve a website?

They drug all the Whitmore kids to the local Mormon church every Sunday. Guess the Mormon church didn't care that they were running a teen therapy facility.  Suppose MONEY TALKS!

Did the kids have a choice as to whether they wanted to attend church, of any denomination?

All of this has been discussed in detail previously.
Use Search WWF: Who am I Discovery

But, no; the kids had to attend the Mormon Church with the Sudweeks. If they refused, or even if they were sick and did not attend, they were punished.
