well it did make me laugh until MMS got on there and removed the truth factor from it- now it's just one big propaganda page... I want to know why the MMS websight has said it will be up in a few weeks for over 4 years now???

Their add is a 'little' misleading in their approach to treating at risk teens.

yea, Chinadog (see the talk page) continues to remove the points that make this more balanced. I think someone needs to site them for vandalism.  Anyone, (you) can go in and revert the edits to return to the previous - more accurate- posting.  I recommend we all stay on top of this to makes sure it is reflected.

I remember all of the students writing out all of these rediculous essays on the school so it could be accredited.  Seems to me like that wasn't our responsibility.  Although I was happy not to have to do all of the daily grind at the time.
I don't mean to "bitch" about the past, but until I recently saw this website, I didn't even know how much MMS still effects my life.  My parents have since apologized for sending me to an institution where I was unfairly targeted out of the group, used for handyman and construction purposes, and in a generally terrifying situation that at age 14, I had no idea was so fucked up as I do now.
Now I know that I question my whole experience at the school.
I am not an addict.  I do not have an eating disorder. I am not a "sociopath" as John "diagnosed" me to my parents.  Oh and just because they drink wine with dinner, they are also not alcoholics.

Reading all of your stories, good and bad, has brought up a lot of memories for me to process....more posts to come I'm sure...

For PNAIS we ALL had things to write, students, and staff. there was no time to sit around and eat nachos....HAHAH,. was there ever?
anywhoo, moral of the story I remember "secondary staff" taking care of us for along time, esp ellen, cuase the founding staff had work to do. I remember "the good kids" were in the office helping the staff redo everything we had done and writing more for the staff....

But I need:

* Inside info about the program (Levels, punishment)

* Testamonies

* Newpaper articles about abuse or at least claims of such in newspapers.

I dont like the page. It is not a standard I would like to have on wikipedia.
