Hey Chad, My name is Danny, I remember you, I stayed at the Hansan Host home for most of my time there.  I was friends with Jason.
I was there six months in 1989. I remember having homemade doughnuts at your house one saturday morning.

Did you guys know someone named Cathy. She was tall and had red hair. She would have been around in the mid 80's. She could not longer afford Timberlawn and I thought left for FL Straight, but maybe it was Dallas, since she was already in Dallas. I know she resurfaced in Dallas in 1987. I was there seeing my neurologist and heard she was back and not doing so well.

honestly i can't remember did her last name begin with f. i entered 10-8-88 graduated in 7-2-90 spent 9 months in aftercare and before i could get a pin. i did stay in touch with a handfull of straightlings but for the most part they all disappeared and faded into the woodwork.two of my closest friends went through at the same time and fortunately we still see and talk to each other on a daily to weekly basis.

Your guess is as good as mine. She looked like Molly Ringwald, and had been at Timberlawn with me. She liked another patient there named named Jackie. Rumor had it that when she was not allowed to see Jackie, she drove her car into a wall. She lived, but no one knew what kind of shape the accident left her in. I just remember her being about 5' 7" or 5'8" and bright red hair with glasses, and a man's Swatch watch. I was so in awe of her. I am 5', and have red/auburn kinky hair. She was popular and I was not. There you have it. She could do great imitations of Pee Wee Herman from Pee Wee's Playhouse.

Hi...Lori Scott here. I remember all of you...Carmel, Chad...all the staff mentioned in that earlier post. And I have a copy of that Texas Monthly magazine on my bookshelf. I'm sure I can find a way to scan it and post it somewhere.

I would love to hear from you all. I am in Austin. My personal email address is [email protected].

I've often wondered what happened to everyone.
