"DJ is definitely self-absorbed "par excellence", of course he wants all the attention.
Presumably because his life has not given him much or enough to meet his needs, this applies especially to his supposed life at HLA---from which he was booted right fast, when they caught on to him.
If somebody out there can bring him back to reality, so much the better for him, and for anybody who happens onto this site!!"

Ottawa,
Spill the beans. Why did they fire DJ? What exactly did they catch on to? Who's your source?

You tell me oh Wise One.
And since you show interest in my opinion let me give you a bit of advice: stop wasting your time advising anon posters to call themselves "HLA Detective" and look at your own life.
Attend to yourself: how about calling yourself "The Mom who Did Such a Crappy job That Somebody Else Got Put in Charge of Her Son's Education"?
And since you seem to care about my opinion, let me offer you some additional advice: in spite of all your destructive actions, your kid seems to be doing reasonably well, he's integrating his time at HLA into his life, making sense of it, not loving it but making sense of it.
Resist the urge to try to justify your own pathetic life by undermining his progress: don't be always trying to get him to join your team against HLA.
Let him live, let him have his own experience, be a mom for once, for God's sake.

Where are these nut jobs coming from?
Anonymous:
Really DJ, one doesn't have to be a nut job to see that there are some deeply disturbed people populating this site.
Somebody who would actually talk about her child's processing of his HLA experience and lament that he just won't come over to her side: this is disturbed to me.
Narcissistic and disturbed.
I would suggest a hobby for this lady. Sewing or pie-making or scrap-booking.
And leave the poor kid alone.

Deborah:
Not interested in your advice or opinion. You made the comment that DJ was fired. I asked you to elaborate and state your source. As expected, you know nothing about DJ.
And even less about me and my son, although you make it sound as if you have intimate knowledge of us. You go beyond arrogance.
You will make a fine program owner. You?ve certainly got what it takes, and then some.
