Actually, sex with a minor would not have been a crime in 1776. Age of consent laws came much later and were not really comprehensive until the Child Protection Act of 1977. Her 14 year old daughter could have been married off to some middle aged man in 1776 without so much as the lift of an eyebrow.

Makes me wonder why the parent is jabbering on about filth, when the real issue is supervision. My own children are not allowed to mindlessly troll the internet without my supervision. I regularly check the website history on my children's computers. I also have the latest in child protection software installed on both of them. Not a fool proof method but certainly it is better than just letting my children cruise the information superhighway completely unattended.

My question for the troll, Why are you so intent on making out Eudora to be an evil person when it comes down to personal responsibility of parents adequetely protect their children from what they consider dangerous?

First lets talk double standard. If you read the terms of use, it is plain to see that the majority of these forums are completely un-moderated. Allowing for completed and total freedom of speech. How is allowing this kind of service trampling anyone rights? and Since there are no restrictions about what you can say here, how is ther a double standard.

Hmmmm... 1776, well I guess you would get run though, or shot. After all that is ow things were handled back then. In general, we did not need the police to take care of matters for us, we liked to take care of them our selves.

I think you have me mistaken for another member of your fan club.....
If the purpose is to help shut down abusive treatment centers/educate the public of their common practices... You have fallen way short of your goal based on what I have read.
Allowing these creeps to post what they do has severely damaged any possible credibility that could come from this site. Furthermore,you clearly havent any self esteem,or respect for others.At least none that I have seen.

You clearly have no clarity.  How in all of gods creation can you pronounce such judgement on someone based on a few internet posts?

I always find this hysterical.  People passing wide sweeping judgement on others in an internet forum.  All the while in real life they wouldnt even chastize the Starbucks Barista for putting too much foam in their latte.

Its nothing more than petty insult.  SYsAdmin didnt attack your self-esteem or self respect....thats just a cop-out grasp for superiority.  When all else fails, insult someone.  Forget the facts.

One I'd like to ask:

How do you folks not only allow the filthy disgusting pointless things to be posted in here, but defend them too?

I almost feel like I need to provide examples to these idiots who seem to think this community is just fine the way it is. Just read some of it. Start in the Elan section. The more its pointed out, the more defensive the sites enablers, and their "sheep" become.

This is your house, your podium to make a statement to the www audience.
When the broadcast contains hate (niggers, jews, gays, etc) disgusting harassment within the group and the likes of mayhem weve seen here, your all guilty by association.
 


Reminds me of the L.A. riots.
As a journalism student, I had the honor of asking nearly 200 people what message they hoped to send by looting and destroying property.
The popular answer was: "everyone else is doing it"
