What difference does it make? The shit in here is innapropriate for children, which is the more profound point to consider.
There are many sites that state the content within is meant for adults only and the user who enters verifies they are 18 before entering.
Sure, most of them are porn. I dont see much of a difference between porn, and this site when considering tact.
Is it unreasonable to have the opinion the site isnt appropriate for children? Who in their right mind can argue with that?
This isnt about being offended, its about exposing children to sick, demented dialogue, with no oportunity to confront those responsible for it.
No matter what freakin rationalization you idiots come up with...its the sites responsibility to take whatever necesary steps it can to keep children from seeing and reading this crap.
How can so many people here distort the issue to fit their agenda while children continue to read this crap you all are content to keep in their view?
Why have all of you ingored the threat these people have on your credibility? Does it not concern you that you are all a part of fornits reputation as a group of whining, sick, perverted, disturbed people?
Why is it more important to allow the sick shit to continue than it is to consider ways to keep it out in consideration of childrens presence here?
Its not a matter of some silly right to speak and be heard.
Its a matter of not giving a crap what children are exposed to as well as your inability to do anything about it, so youve all just conceeded to defeat, and allow the sick trolls to go on unchallenged.
Bravo"
You really like to throw around a lot of hateful adjectives. First of all, there are no children here. There are some teens here and there is nothing here that would harm a teen. Nothing. You're just a ranting idiot.
If you want to talk about protecting kids, let's talk about how my son, at age four, personally witnessed the collapse of the World Trade Center from across the Hudson River. By extension he watched 19 people he knew, including parents of some of his school mates die.
The next day, as we looked across the River to where the WTC used to be, he asked me, "Daddy, did the bad men fly planes into the buildings and knock them down?" "Yes, that is what happened" "Daddy, are all the people dead?" "Yes, I'm afraid they are." "Are we going to be dead, too?" "No, we will be fine."
After that, there is nothing on this site that a teenager might read that would bother me.
I would much rather have my child be aware of the mindfuck these programs perpetrate on teenagers than to have them watch that lying asshole of a President of ours and perhaps believe what the fucker says. If you want obscenity, just tune into the government or Fox News, or go read a web site that advertises their program with misrepresentations. I would really like to protect my child from that shit. An occasional 'fuck' or "butthole" does not bother me.
Living on the edge of NYC, my son has already seen it all, from the needles and condemns on the street to the homeless man with a stola sticking out in plain sight, to the prostitutes he sees on his morning ride to school. At age nine, we have educated him about HIV, STDs, drugs, gay vs straight, race issues and child abduction and poverty. We had to for his own protection. None of this has hurt him in the least. He still likes cartoons, toys, riding his bike, and playing with friends, and is as sweet and innocent a kid as you will ever meet; even if he does drop an F bomb once in a while (like after stubbing his toe).
My nine-year-old does not read Fornit's. It would hold his attention for maybe ten seconds.
