God, this is so pathetic I don't even know what to say. This thread is so crazy it needs to be bumped up again for parents and people to read. I was the second poster in this thread as guest who said of course they would. I said it with such certainty because I was transfered to a wwasps program straight from a psychiatric hospital after being diagnosed with pretty much the same thing Samuel Johnson has, and a lot fo the same behaaviors and such. WWASPS view of how to handle mental illness is to lock you up in isolation until you crack. Because in WWASPS twisted reality, there is no mental illness, any kid is faking and manipulating in an attempt to be sent to a psych hospital. Thats why they didnt send Karlye to a psych hospital when they knew she was suicidal. There were kids losing it under the stress doing weird shit every now and then and they still wouldnt get sent away. stuff that would get any of us locked up in the crazy house in ten seconds flat!
