WWASP Camps Documentary Online
« Reply #30 on: March 30, 2006, 05:46:00 AM »
i have the Tranquility Bay Doc Downloaded. It is in a unusal format, so i converted it into DVD and also a high quality windown media file format. The WMV file is now shrunk to 125 megs and is the full hight quality of the original. I am thinking about posting it on the internet using a web hoster in a country WWASP and the courts they bought off cant ever make them take it down!

Any thoughts or ideas?

Yeah here's an idea... there's no such thing as a resized, reencoded and coverted-to-wmv-half-the-size of the original 2-pass xvid that is the same quality as the original.

To download the video all you need is http://www.uTorrent.com - load the little torrent file from the website and leave it running.

If you dont get a little green circle at the bottom of the program screen google "utorrent port forwarding" for instructions on how to open up a port on your firewall/modem to allow it to run properly.

Once your download has completed just get the http://www.videolan.org player to watch it.

I guess the afternoon is the time to download it because I was getting 70/kb and it only took 2 hours to download it. I tried it the other night late and it said ti would take a day or two.

I thought the movie was excellent. It is definitely the best piece of media I would show somebody knew to the topic of abusive programs. I just watched it with my roomate and I could see it helped her understand my own story. When the guy went back to Spring Creek and filming the kids there in the woods, I said, "that's where I was", and my roomate was surprised... maybe she thought it was more like a summer camp or something. Showing the kids lined up, and the looks on their defeated faces really helps understand how terrible it is to be locked up at one of these prison camps.

The other interesting part for me was the interviews with the staff. Randal Hilton was insane... can you imagine, a parent paying this guy thousands of dollars a month to watch their kid!! Lichfield seems downright evil... when they start spouting off how they save teens, the look on their face suggests they know otherwise.

Every parent thinking about sending their kid to WWASP (or any similar program) needs to see this DVD.

I am going to watch it again. This is a great find, thanks to whoever posted about this. It's sad that even with all the information, documentaries, news stories, wwasp seems to be growing.

It really puzzles me to see Marijuana connected with Narcotics - Dope and all that crap?it's a thousand times better than whiskey - it's an Assistant - a friend.

Somebody will end up doing it, and when that happens..........maybe it'll be the beginning of the end?

Whoever this person or persons are, they will end up being called a hero for being brave enough to put this thing out there, and face the wrath of WWASPS.

You just have to be smarter then them. Dot all those i's and cross all those t's, and say a prayer to the man upstairs that we can get the public's attention.
