I was at the seed in Laderdale,at 14 years old,  I thank it was 71...I saw people getting beat up by two or three people at the same time, and I could not help them..I went along with what ever I had to do to get out....i had my head shaved for screwing up..( I was talked into drinking some wine by a freind that was in the program to)he gave us up the next day.I saw a lot of shit happen there.yes I was into drugs at the time, but the seed just fuck me up more..when you are a 14 year old boy, that is a lot of shit to deal with. I was 14 too dude, and it definatly made me and I got the scars to prove it. What the Hell? I don'teven recall all the Seed. I just recall all the "Seedlings"later on in life fucking me over still.

i was also at the andrews ave ft laud. seed in '71. i think i was the first one to get the shaved head torture(believe me i was pissed!!) they sat me on a scaffold on a toilet and shaved my head off while many seedlings got way in my face to the point of violence. had been caught with a lil weed stashed in my house.never saw them do that to anyone else befor that.

I think that those of us who were put in there at a young age (12 to 14/15) really were damaged more than older persons. In many ways, that experience stunted me for many years.

Emotional maturity gives a person a whole lot more strenght to resist.  Lacking that, we had no choice but to go along to get along. It's terrible but it's true.

True, we all had to grow up and get over it. The Seed is the least of my life's nightmares. I'm sedated. I got rid of all my excess bagage years ago through a suicide attempt that gave me the luxery of amnesia. Before that I was screwed up.
