If CEDU was one thing, it was definitely "ridikkulus". I would love to hear about how some of the most bizarre shit we may have encountered there also had an aspect of absolute hilarity. Gotta have a sense of humor about some of these things, you know.

What was the most funny for me, personally, was how SERIOUS I took the program. My sense of humor pretty much disappeared for about three years.

That sums it up. After CEDU, more than I missed my mind, I missed my sense of humor. Now I'm getting regressively sillier in my old age.

CEDU not only skewed my sense of humor for awhile, it made me OBSESSED with everyone else's business. I was walking around in the real world still thinking I had to hold everyone accountable, otherwise I could get in trouble for their shit. Oh man, I'm glad I kicked that one eventually.

nope. I related having a sense of humor about things that may have disturbed us at one point to harry potter... and Mark Twain.

reading comprehension, 101.

But I admit that comparing anything to Harry Potter is geeky, and I fully admitted that in the first post.

*laughs* You know, your attitude only makes me want to talk about Harry Potter more. I like you, you're silly. If fornits is one thing, it's that it can certainly be entertaining at times.

Anyways, I have now changed the focus of this thread to be a Harry Potter conversation. What were everyone's thoughts on the sixth book? Spoiler alert ahead.

1. I think Harry is a horcrux, and god willing, he will be killed in the last book, because he really is annoying.

2. Snape will be vindicated. (Besides, he is the best character in the series, and the most complex.)

3. I'm fairly certain that R.B. stands for Regulus Black, Sirius' brother. Anyone remember the locket that wouldn't open that they found cleaning out the house in the fifth book? It was only mentioned in passing. I think that was the real horcrux. (I think Kreacher stole it, didn't he?)

Anyways, discuss.

Blessed are the dorks, for they will inherit the earth. Or maybe not, the earth isn't in mint, NRFB condition, and you can't get good money for that on ebay.

Now if you will excuse me, I have to go play Animal Crossing: Wild World on my nintendo DS. And then I'm going to go polish my D&D dice, because they are getting dusty.

Castle - I know nothing of Harry Potter, nor do i care to.  But, i've got your back, bro.  Anyone who calls you names, but won't own it - is the worst kind of weak.

Thanks.  That's always appreciated.

I wouldn't worry about this guy, though. He's harmless. I think he's doing a much better job of upsetting himself than anyone else.

I will admit, though. People like that are fun to fuck with.

You would be surprised at how many adults read Harry Potter. But he might be too complex for you. I have a feeling you are not much of a reader.

I would recommend Twain, however. I'm teaching it right now in my Am Lit course.

Hey Castle, I'm with Venice - I've got your back.  What the hell kind of lives do these people lead that they have time to just talk shit?   And, if they believe they really have something to say, why hide?   It's sad really.
