Some are saying that he died from complications of Sickle Cell disease or Exercise Related Death. Why was he forced to exercise if he had this disorder? Seems extremely negligent.

There's only one party on Capital Hill and it's the bipartisan spending party.

You take your victim as you find him, that's the law. Another words, if he had sickle cell trait, so what? If he was more susceptible to death from a beating than someone else, should his parents have had to worry about that when they put him in a program that was supposed to be helpful? Who would have thought a bunch of grown men twice or three times his size would have beaten the holy living shit out of him while some fat-ass nurse stood and watched? No matter what they determine the cause of death was, they are responsible. They murdered this child!

Most (including a lot of sickle cell specialists) are saying he did not die of sickle cell trait as claimed by the ME who performed the autopsy.  The ME's license had expired at the time he performed the autopsy AND why was it done in Bay county when the death occured in Escambia?  or the other way around.  Negligence, brutality, manslaughter, suspicion and cover up no matter how they try to spin it.

Another case of medical neglect, not surprising to me.  When I was at Ascent I was forced to do our 3 hour morning PT with a 102 degree fever and a UTI.  I was denied anitbiotics or even a doctors visit.  Sadistic jerks.

No, this  one isn't medical neglect. He wasn't sick when he got to the camp, 3 hours before they finally figured out that he wasn't malingering. There was a case like that in the Fl state system, kid died of apendicitis, another from improper restraint.

And this is a little different in one very significant way. This was not a private placement, this was a court ordered program. In Florida, when some well intended do gooder calls the 1-800 child abuse hotline, it's like calling the "fire men" in Ray Bradburry's Fahrenheit 451. "Did someone order some child abuse?" And they have the full backing and protection of the state, which has been in the hands of the smirking chimp's little brother and his cronies now for the past 6 years.

God, I'm so glad to have gotten my kids out of that spooky little state!

I hope w/e it is Pirate is doing.. he is feeling the same, Alive! and Free!
