I like to think that  Jesus and Mary Magdelen were lovers.  They were members of an Egyptian mystery cult led by John the Baptist.  The cults' most holy sacrements involved sex rites.  The story of the crucifixtion is the re-enactment of the story of Isis bringing Osiris back to life, but it is told within a Jewish context. The black madonnas throughout europe, an' especially France are actually statues of Isis. Christ was teaching Egyptian spirituality to the Jews.

An' to anyone who thinks I've just been duped by the Di Vinci code I' spent the last decade before the Di Vinci code came out studying early forms of Christianity.  Christianity was actually cool before the Romans made it their state religion in the 5th century.  Rome adapted it to their empirical ambitions and used it to enslave rather than liberate. Rome was an empire built on slavery.  As Romes political power waned it re-incarnated itself in the form of the Catholic church.  Peace.

If you would have justice in this world, then begin to see that a human being is not a means to some end.  People are not commodities.  When human beings are just to one another government becomes obsolete and real freedom is born; SPIRITUAL ANARCHY.

Point taken, and yet even fairy tales have a point and a message.  The forms may change but the song remains the same.

Joseph Campbell says: "a myth is a public dream...A dream is a private myth."

If all its about is the point and message, why do people squable about who mary got fucked by, this guy named jesus and all the other details which can't possibly be correct (ever played telephone at a party?). It's like when I want you to explain something to a kid, parents use fairy tales because they aren't mature enough to teach them in a reality based way, I get that. I don't fault kids for believing in religion, they believe in santa clause and the easter bunny. Im just curious how adults can swallow this stuff?

Well, That's a good question an'I'm not sure what the answer is...

To me the story of Christ is just a mythology, just like any other;  It is a map of the human consciousness.  People take all this stuff way too literally.  All you really need to know is within you from the beginning.  When you understand the mythologies then you realize that that was the message all along.  You are the creator...there is no other authority.

Maybe people get hung up on all this because they fail to understand who they really are and are actually afraid for whatever reasons to look into themselves and so they look to identify themselves with external authorities instead. This leads to further confusion and serves to create delusion instead of understanding.  People miss the point altogether.  You have to take the symbols out of their institutional contexts.  See the world with your own eyes.  When the symbols are removed from their institutional contexts a whole new understandin' presents itself.  This is just my take.

It's incredibly difficult to even approach this in mere words.

I've gotta run...I'll check back here later.

i am a direct decendant of the early christians!
after the roman empire declared themselve christian and becaume roman catholic,my ppl were name eastern orthodox!before that it was simply known as the church....this is why i'm hot on Miller Newton's heels right now....after the begining of the end of the "kids" programs,he converted his religion and reverandship to orthodox!hence "father cassian newton".....i have sent numerous letters to pokrov.com! i got many responding letters! including one from the priest that was backing miller....{i refuse to call him "father"}...because of my middle eastern background and my religious background,he took me very seriously....millers days as a priest are on thier way out the door!i won't stop till i know he is gone....when i get the chance,i'll post my letter and responces on here for you guys to read!
just thought you guys would be interested ....hip

just to add to that, there were many ppl that wrote pokrov.they took my letter very seriously
because of,not only my heredity background, but more because of my history with the man!after they read my letters and checked my religious and ethnic back ground, they had NO CHOICE but to take everyone elses letters more seriously....they told me after my letter, the fact that i'm orthodox
by religion and the history of abuse that i had under miller, they had to take everyone elses letters way more serious!i guess he had everyone thinking we were a bunch of fanatical "anti-newton" protesters......hip

O.K. I'm back now...I wanted to edit my previous post because I had to write it in a hurry and I wanted to clarify myself, but for some unknown reason I couldn't get into my own post! WTF! So I've re-worked a little bit right here:

Well, That's a good question an' I'm not sure what the answer is...but anyway...

People identify themselves with the form or the "details" instead of the substance.  One man is burned at the stake for espousing in one age what another man is exulted for in another. The "details" are only the language of the time and just like in the "telephone" game the original message is lost.  In other words: the form may change but the song remains the same.  This kind of misinterpretaion leads to further confusion and serves to create delusion instead of understanding.  People "squable" over the details which they attach themselves to and define themselves by.  People miss the point altogether.

Institutions are created by insecurity. Institutions seek not to liberate but to control.  You have to take the symbols out of their institutional contexts.  See the world with your own eyes.  When the symbols are removed from their institutional contexts a whole new understandin' presents itself.  Break free of the institutions, the dogma and the conventions of the past.  Love yourself.  Love your brothers an' sisters.  Fuck the religious institutions but praise Jah!!  The mighty God is a livin' man!

It's incredibly difficult to even approach this in mere words, hence all the symbols in the first place.
