Rockin Easy, 24 Laid-Back Hits, a double album of killer 70s love songs.  Picked it up at the Sal yesterday for .99.  Its not in the book...Whoa now, le's see, I just went to grab it.  It says Super Stars 70s, volume 3, Rockin Easy, 24 Laid -Back Hits.  Warner Special Products(Warner bros), includes Bonnie Raitt, J.T., Fleetwood Mac, Hall and Oates,Aretha Franklin, Marshall Tucker, Dionne Warwick and the Spinners, Bee Gees, too many to list. ... not in to bad a shape neither...

Most of those songs are from Double Fantasy, except for Nobody Told Me...

Here's something about that song from wikipedia:

Recorded (but uncompleted) shortly before his death in 1980, the song [Nobody Told Me] was later completed by Lennon's widow Yoko Ono in 1983 and released as the first single from Lennon and Ono's album Milk and Honey in 1984. The song was later released in the UK in 1990, b/w "I'm Stepping Out". The song was originally written for Ringo Starr to include on his 1981 album Stop and Smell the Roses, but Lennon died before the song could be used.

You gotta love the sonorous quality of real bells (I guess they're made of iron or brass?), not those electric bells that churches sometimes have...

"Rich Girl" takes me right back to childhood; I associate that soulful tune with going to Orioles games at the old stadium for some reason...

Of course you know I'm an MC5 fan.. they're not The Stooges, but they definitely had their moments.
