"House of the Risin Sun" by the Animals_Heard it played in group, by Joe Martin, stocky kid with golden blond hair.  He was from MD. He was on 5th phase and I was sittin in the rows when I watched him play it.  Once in a program jam.  You knew it.

If you would have justice in this world, then begin to see that a human being is not a means to some end.  People are not commodities.  When human beings are just to one another government becomes obsolete and real freedom is born; SPIRITUAL ANARCHY.

There is a history for that song, but nobody's knows for certain.....Good stuff on Wikipedia, if you care to search. That was a standard for garage bands back in late 60's early 70's. Another was hey Joe by Jimi Hendrix.....I'm sure there is a history behind that song as well.

Deftones - Around the fur, White Pony, Deftones

Meshuggah - ObZen

Mastodon - Leviathan, Blood Mountain, Crack the Skye

Tool - everything

Lots of Led Zepplin

Fiona Apple - The Idler Wheel (I know, this is odd considering the rest)
