Yes, indeed.  Some folks prefer Miles, but I think his phrasing, though incredible, lacks the warmth of Coltrane.

and romantic connections.
Chicago Transit Authority and Lou Rawls (pre-Barry years) did it for me.  My husband still sings to me 16 years later.
