I Don't get it- to be a legitimate teacher don't you need certification?  Why are they accepting someone with merely a BA or BS??

History/Humanities Teacher
Employer: Mission Mountain School
Mssion Mountain School, a fully accredited independent therapeutic boarding school for female adolescents, is currently seeking an individual with teaching experience to fill a position in Humanities/History. Candidates with MA/MS and certification preferred though will consider BA/BS. Successful candidate will be able to teach History and Literature classes. This is a full-time, year-round position. Benefits include insurance and pension. Beginning salary range $26-32K DOE.

LOOKS LIKE THEY'RE SHORT ON EVERY POSITION- COULD IT be that John the tyrant is shooing everyone out?  Or that scrutiny has made them look into hiring acutual qualified people?  Although, from the look of their ads, doesn't appear they've set the bar very high...I love the school for  'gifted girls'  -- how silly.  I'm not suggesting we weren't all brilliant in our own way...but gifted   :rofl:  :rofl:  :rofl:

Responsibilities: Supervisor of the Outdoor Recreation Program. This includes teaching and facilitating implementation of the recreation curriculum to students, monitoring and evaluating recreational skill acquisition of students, documentation of student progress, participation in all recreational activities including school trips (both day and multiple day), assisting with maintenance and general upkeep of facility grounds, supervision of staff. This position is full-time, weekend shift, Fri-Mon, 4 10's with one overnight duty per shift.
Qualifications
This is a position for a person with very strong leadership skills who will also be a good role model for both staff and students. MA/MS in Outdoor Recreation, Recreation Programming, Therapeutic Recreation or related field, and experience working with outdoor programs. Current WFR or WEMT. Excellent teaching and outdoor skills, computer and writing skills, staff management/ supervision and leadership skills. Ability to drive 15 passenger vans with trailers, various ATV's, handle small power tools, and teach others these skills. Understanding of 12-step recovery process and experience in crisis behavior management helpful. Recreational skills to include mountain biking, x-country and telemark skiing, camping, some climbing ability, as well as team sports including soccer, basketball and volleyball. Position also includes assisting students with general outdoor work tasks to include trail work, fence building, firewood cutting, gardening, and general grounds maintenance. Must have skills/aptitude in organization, inventory, repairing, maintenance, etc. of tools, gear and equipment related to these activities.

I'd like to highligh this part- Forced labor still a problem?  

Position also includes assisting students with general outdoor work tasks to include trail work, fence building, firewood cutting, gardening, and general grounds maintenance. Must have skills/aptitude in organization, inventory, repairing, maintenance, etc. of tools, gear and equipment related to these activities.

currently seeking a Psychologist with current or immediate eligibility for Montana licensure. Include 3 professional references and salary requirements with your resume. Beginning salary range $55-$60K. Clinical Director beginning salary range $65-$75k
Qualifications
Must have demonstrated expertise in female adolescent development as well as a history of employing successful treatment strategies for addictive disorders, mood disorders, trauma, oppositional defiance and eating disorders. Successful candidate will possess a PhD or PsyD in Clinical Psychology or a related field, and have at least 7 years working with adolescent populations with minimum 5 years in a residential setting. You will be working with a team of professionals with potential advancement to a Clinical Director position. We are currently preparing to initiate the JCAHO accreditation process, and as such seek a high level of professionalism for this position. Familiarity with JCAHO process a plus.

No one gave anyone shit at any time while I was there.   Terror, forced labor/exercise seemed to be effective in eliminating any attitude.
But yea, pretty cheap, huh?
