I got an engagement ring. I finally stopped asking for one after being married for 12 years. I was shocked. I also got a pod for the top of my car, and my son made me a RV out of clay in pottery class.
Best of all, I spent the day with my entire family. Parents, my husband and my sons, my siblings & spouses, neices & nephews.

I know your fate Cindy rot crouch, it isn't looking good. You may only think your son is fogiving for keeping him in that hell hole, but in time he will discover his true feelings and act on impulse. You cheated him out of time in his life, and it will soon present a problem to him and revenge will be the only option.
