for ten years kids have left there without a shread of contact information about their peers. personal items shipped after their departure so it could be searched for such. how many ex's posting here were given that info?
as for the 'myths and so many untruths', haven't seen those discussions there. one would have to come to fornits or myspace for that.
Well, except they did dispell one untruth- they ARE a TBS. no surprise for some. is it such a 'difficult decision' to 'place' a child in a traditional boarding school?

I wonder what ORS will think of an admission made by an employee of HLA that they are in fact a Theraputic Boarding School?

Why does your message board state that HLA is a TBS (aka RTC) while your marketing materials and paperwork filed with the state indicate you are a "traditional boarding school"?
Isn't it illegal for a traditional boarding school to provide intensive "therapy" sessions (both group and individual), a behavior modification program, and large group awareness training? What about holding patients incommunicado?
If so, why does HLA continue to falsely represent itself to prospective marks and regulatory bodies as a traditional boarding school?
Let's get real, folks. ANYONE who ever attended a boarding school KNOWS that HLA is NOT ONE.
HLA is a behavior modification center that uses a level system, has arbitrary requirements for completion and practices millieu control. Doesn't sound much like any school I've ever seen.

jesus i couldnt have said it better myself for the love of god that place needs to be shut the fuck down id also like to add that i have tried to contact that piece of shit place to find out about my peer group and u know u have to write in and shit well they took out everything that was important that i wrote and jus put that i was in college and doing well. umm fuck u i said i wanted to get ahold of my peer group and my friends and thats why i wrote and those mother fuckers hjave my fucking email address and didnt even have the descencey to email me that one of my best friends in my peer group died i had to find out from someone else in a rather harsh "oh i thought u knew sort of way" and dont make fun of me cause i know i probley spelled descency wrong. be nice im grammatically challenged=)
