Eh, not a Honda fan. I've raced pretty much everything Honda makes (except an NSX) and beaten it. bad. I raced 2nd-3rd gen Preludes, a 2002 RSX Type-S, 2004 Civic Si, a turboed CRX hatch, and literally dozens of rice-boys in their two-door "Fast & Furious" pieces of shite. I've only ever lost to a really quick black Integra, he smoked me off the line (at a tollbooth) and lost me in traffic... I woulda won if I had had EZpass like him  :flame:

The MR2 is still a dream, I just need everyone on the Fornits to send me a check for $100

Ill let you in on a little secret in making your 4 banger have more power. Do not go out and buy one of those stupid big shiny noisy exhausts. Everytime when someone puts one on you loose 15 % HP easily. $ bangers need back pressure to run right, when you take a 1 inch exhaust then jump to a 4, you loose back pressure. Also there is soon to be a law passed to make all those loud exhausts illegal nationwide. Yeah!

I did have a Ractive Tanabe muffler on my sentra and as far as i was concerned, you dont get power out of a little 4 anyways, so it might as well sound cool. Well I suppose there are some ridiculously powerful v4 cars our there, but the amount of money it must take to turn those into racecars must be completly impractical. 4.3 V6 is plenty powerful for me these days, my truck has a bigger engine than most chevy, dodge, and ford full size trucks. And weighs about a ton less. Gas is a bitch.

Now let me get this straight, he just said that 4.3 v6 is plenty for you and that it is a bigger engine than most chevy, dodge, and ford full size trucks? How do you explain my full size Ford with a 5.8 then? Or my previous 03 that had a 6.0 I sold last year?

Well, I have two four banger cars, and you are dead wrong. The backpressure myth is exactly that, a myth.

I have a naturally aspirated 2.2L with a 2.5 inch full straight pipe exhaust with a header and a test pipe in place of the catalytic converter, as well as a hi-flow Monza/Pacesetter muffler. Don't tell me a 4-cyl. needs backpressure, the gains from freeing up my exhaust on the NA car were in the area of 15+hp

As for the 2.0L turbo in the All-Trac, boosting @ 15psi, everything after the turbo manifold is 3 inch piping out to the HKS exhaust

There is also no law on the books or about to be on the books regarding the current exhaust noise level of 80dB, and cars, all cars, I4, I6, V6, V8, V10, W12 like to breathe better, and a larger, better flowing exhaust does just that...[ This Message was edited by: Mister Pink on 2006-01-09 11:20 ]

full size ford. F-150. It has a 4.2 in it. Yes, you can get a f-250 or a 350 and have a far larger engine. Stock off the showroom fullsize pickups. probly should have mentioned that before, but there is always loopholes in someones bragging.

I ll always go with a Hot Rod Lincoln V8. I hit a phone pole New Years due to ice. I cracked the pole but didnt put a dent in the car. The Lincoln may be a boat of a car but it does have speed and it is safe.
