90 horsepower at the dyno is a puny number indeed... a factory supercharged MR2, keep in mind, weighs around a metric ton, and puts out 145 at *the flywheel*, giving a 0-60 time of 6.5 and can do a quarter mile in 15 seconds.... FROM THE FACTORY!!!

compare that to these numbers:

1967 Ford Mustang (390ci V8 w/4spd) 7.4 15.
1973 Dodge Charger SE 440ci         7.4 15.2
1967 Chevrolet Camaro SS-350        8.0 15.4
1988 Porsche 944 Turbo              6.6 15.1

pretty good for an 1988' JDM spec, no?

From the Law Offices of Binder&Binder
#334 Front Way: Seattle, WA:

It pleases my client to such a great degree that he is unable to express himself, that his good colleague and friend was released from Elan Penitentiary at approximately 12:00AM on December the 24th today, and is about to make their way back into the reality that is life!.,..,... My client's comrade, who wishes to forever remain anonymous, signed him/herself out of the Elan Program/Robot Factory yesterday! May God, Buddha, Muhammed, and Mother Earth

yeah! indeed! the above two posts were made by me.. excepting the previous and the prior, which were made by someone else under and assumed name, but not the latter, who was, surely, not me, and the before tense of the verb, who was not myself at the present tense as the matter of fact... for I am a nowhere man, and a complete n00b.

Sorry Pink, I was talking about todays Chargers, Mustangs, GTO's ect. When you said 60's on, I should've been more specific on what years I was talking about, Charger is new to dodge again., after a well in my eyes a 30 year absence, that stupid 4 banger they made in the 80's doesnt count.

Its all about preference i guess, those MR2's are fuckin dope. American Muscle cars are projects, just the same as any new import is. Different parts, different price tags. I love my camaro, but i would also love to have a car that can take a corner at 90+ mph. No greater feeling than having someone try to pass you, then gettin on it and making them realize they made a mistake. Im so happy i can come to this forum and talk about something I actually love for once...lol

Keep it between the dirt, the wind at your back, and the rubber side down, buddy.

yeah, I wasn't hating on American cars so much as saying that Japanese cars are equally as good, MR2s, Supra's, Z-cars, NSX's, Rotary engined Mazdas.... Some of the quickest cars out there! I'm glad we can discuss something useful on this hell-board for once
Got any pics of your camaro?

yea ill get em' on here asap, i gota take the tarp off it and all that garbage, its behind thousands of card board boxes in the garage from all the UPS deliveries around here for xmas. Speaking of rotary engines, i saw an RX-8 down in Boston the other day, fabulous looking automobile to say the least. And I'm sure its faster than a motherfucker...

Toyota is better than Honda, no doubt, and they last even longer , just basic maintenence, oil changes, wires etc, and your toyota will take care of you for a LONG fucking time ...

From  the Law Offices of Porsche Automotive;
#666 Autobahn, Bavaria, West Germany:

Bah! I own a 1984 Porsche 944, and will gladly call for a recess from court anytime to line up at a stoplight with this lawful jackass. As for my client, he becomes weary of anons and their imaginary friends and their fictional cars...
move along anon, nothing to see here...
