Maggies Friend thread
« Reply #15 on: December 14, 2005, 12:20:00 AM »
I was just trying to figure out a few things about my past and decided to google "the Seed" and found this forum, now I'm hooked!  This sure brings back some memories/emotions from a confusing time.  I hope this is OK for this thread, I think I made some good friends there but, due to the nature of my departure, I never felt I could get in contact with anyone (I'll save that for another thread).

I was in from '78 to '83; I started about the Same time Walter did, at the Cleveland Seed, closed that and moved to Ft. Lauderdale - I alos remember Bob of the Plantation Gardens Apartment.  I also wonder about Ken, Cliff, the Cleveland guys we left behind, and the ones who came down.

After reading several posts it is apparent that the things we thought made us different are actually what make us the same.

It is great to see you are around Wally Gator!

Of course you're welcome! Didn't you see the welcome mat? All current and former Seedlings.

Hook up w/ those old friends, compare notes and let us all know what you think. That's what it's all about.

It's our goddamn duty to get these people back on drugs so they can think for themselves again!!!

Ricci here,I used to live with Brian the Golfer. I was at Ft. Lauderdale and hung around Hank before he became a staff member. It is good to see you are doing well. I am doing engineering work now and Have been at the sme place for over 26 years. I was also angry when i left the seed mostly because I did not understand why I was shunned. But that's ok I got over it guickly. My dad was dying and I did not have time to think about those people. Anyway good to see you are still around and your ok. Have a great holiday and be well.

Ricci,

Did you keep up with Brian the golfer or his family?  I believe Hank and wife are living in Tallahassee but I haven't kept up with them.  His wife and I shared an apt for a while.  She use to take me down to Little Havana to see her Grandma and we would go see movies or go out to eat cuban food.

I hope all is well with you.  Happy Holidays!

Its so funny, but I remember every one of you.  I was kinda a quiet guy so you may not remember me.

I remember Brian the golfer.  He also had a brother who was on the program.

Johnny G.  How could I forget?  All the times we worked together on electric and stuff.  Had a lot of fun times together.

Maggie may not remember me.  But one day you had given me a saint christopher medal.  I think you had just moved or had something to do with an apartment with Pam S who later married JU.  Anyway I have never forgotten that small gesture of kindness and I wore that medal for a very long time.

Wally I think you were the guy who was such a good cook and always made me laugh my ass off.

I remember Hank as well and rented a little cottage that was owned by his folks.  It was kinda a mess over the ordeal when he left.  Not sure what that was all about.

RicciC   Did you guys do marble?

Hey Seth, welcome!

Do you still play chess?  I don't think my game has ever been as good as it was when we played.

Ditto on the electrical stuff.

Seth,

Wow, I can't believe it...

Hey, I was thinking about you the other day, wondering what you were up to. Yeah, quiet but...an Aries so you know what they say.

I have great memories of you singing, playing guitar, and I really enjoyed listening to music with you - Frank Sinatra, Count Basie. That was a pleasure.

I hope you are doing well and Happy Birthday!

Walter
