Anonomous, it is your judgemental inability to take a joke that brings darkness and depression upon the world. My health is perfect and I'm very well.
Pirate, I would say toss the deck out the window and go on, but I understand that during times like these (Bush Economics) $120.00 can be hard to lay aside for some entertainment devices.
I knew a chic that took back a night vision goggle box with a small brick packaged in the box. She got the refund and then started shopping. The Warehouse guy checking in returns came running out the back and she had to give the refund right back.
Simple Scaming Guidelines,
1 Be quick
2 Say as little as possible, don't over do it. 3 Once you got it, shut up. DO NOT keep explaining yourself.
4 Never admit wrong doing. (If they were to discover a mismatch in serial numbers, blame them, not yourself)
5 Play the role as if it really happened the way your projecting.
It's good your thinking things through Pirate. Impatients, emotions and lack of education can cause you troubles.
For several months I've gotten my way by threating lawsuits to merchants that violate the Federal Deceptive Trade and Practices Act of 1999. If you were anyway informed that the tape deck would last 1 yr and then broke at 8 months, you were deceived and your rights under the 1999 FDTP Act were violated.
I hope you get a new deck. Music is important. Till then feel free to check out my site at
http://www.bandspace.com/crapple The site has some songs of mine from an old band called Crapple, some pics and other shit. To look and listen is free. Downloads cost, but if you like what you hear let me know and I'll send you the entire CD Crapple "Sociaby Deceived" for free. And if you like porn punk my CD Porn Junky "Tough Love" has a target time of completion by late Spring 2006. I have room to give out 100 as gifts and Pirate, I'd love to put you on that gift list.
Now anonomous with the walk so much better than mine. What do you have to offer this world? Another story? I've heard a bunch.
